Not a violation of the username policy. Real names are permitted except when they imply that the editor is a specific living person they are not. Consider filing a report at the conflict of interest noticeboard. Beeblebrox (talk) 18:07, 20 April 2019 (UTC)

LM5: The Tour

Temporary semi-protection: Persistent vandalism – Persistent vandalism over the past 12 hours. livelikemusic talk! 00:36, 20 April 2019 (UTC)

  • Automated comment: A request for protection/unprotection for one or more pages in this request was recently made, and was denied at some point within the last 8 days.—cyberbot ITalk to my owner:Online 00:39, 20 April 2019 (UTC)
No activity for the last half day or so. Might be going stale. Samsara 19:50, 20 April 2019 (UTC)

People of Assam

Indefinite semi-protection: Persistent disruptive editing – User:Chao_Arunav is changing the correct values and deleting correct information.

This type of user should be blocked from wikipedia. . PerfectingNEI (talk) 10:53, 20 April 2019 (UTC)

Looks like content dispute to me.--Ymblanter (talk) 11:02, 20 April 2019 (UTC)
I seem to recall that a similar conflict about Dravidian and other linguistic/ethnic things came around a few months ago. Might be a new area for ECP. Hesitating to ping Sitush as he hasn't been active the last two days. Samsara 19:40, 20 April 2019 (UTC)

Bobby soxer (music)

Semi-protection: Every once in a while a new boss comes to town. This one wants remove almost all content wherever they see a cn tag. Also Leathercoated Minds. SlightSmile 17:46, 20 April 2019 (UTC)

I'm inclined to side with Slightsmile here as the reason the IP is removing the content is not that he's disputing it, but rather, that he's opposed to it not having a source. To my mind, that's not a sound reason to remove (except on BLPs, which this isn't). Samsara 19:43, 20 April 2019 (UTC)

MasterChef Junior (U.S. season 7)

Temporary semi-protection: Persistent vandalism – Restore semi protection please, the vandalism from unregistered users restarted almost immediately after last RPP ended. SanAnMan (talk) 22:55, 20 April 2019 (UTC)

List of American railroad accidents

Temporary semi-protection: Persistent addition of unsourced or poorly sourced content – IP users have been editing this article for quite some time without any regard to sources. Daybeers (talk) 01:26, 21 April 2019 (UTC)

Semi-protected for a period of 7 days, after which the page will be automatically unprotected. Daybeers, I suggest you add a few sources to show how it's done. Otherwise they're just going to continue when protection is lifted. This is the third time the article has been protected against it. SarahSV (talk) 06:16, 21 April 2019 (UTC)

Temporary semi-protection: Persistent vandalism – by multiple IPs - similar vandalism/evidently incorrect changes to Winnipeg Jets. theinstantmatrix (talk) 01:33, 21 April 2019 (UTC)

Semi-protected for a period of 7 days, after which the page will be automatically unprotected. SarahSV (talk) 06:08, 21 April 2019 (UTC)

The Lion King 1½

Semi-protection: Persistent vandalism – Deliberate addition of fake info. Original IP blocked for a year March 5, IP socks of that editor continue adding same crap since then. Geraldo Perez (talk) 01:41, 21 April 2019 (UTC)

Semi-protected for a period of 14 days, after which the page will be automatically unprotected. SarahSV (talk) 06:03, 21 April 2019 (UTC)

Joe Kehoskie

Semi-protection: Persistent disruptive editing – Or perhaps a range block. Disruption is coming from 2604:6000:A range. S0091 (talk) 03:00, 21 April 2019 (UTC)

Semi-protected for a period of 7 days, after which the page will be automatically unprotected. SarahSV (talk) 06:00, 21 April 2019 (UTC)

Ánima Estudios

Semi-protection: High level of IP vandalism. IP's have been continuously editing and "downgrading" the history sections to make it less "readable", and removing some necessary content (dates, box office numbers, etc.) without explanation, which is getting annoying. Animawiki29 (talk) 04:53, 21 April 2019 (UTC)

Semi-protected for a period of 7 days, after which the page will be automatically unprotected. SarahSV (talk) 05:58, 21 April 2019 (UTC)

The Wall Street Journal

Temporary extended confirmed: Persistent disruptive editing. General Ization Talk 04:54, 21 April 2019 (UTC)

Fully protected for a period of 3 days, after which the page will be automatically unprotected. SarahSV (talk) 05:55, 21 April 2019 (UTC)

People of New Guinea

Temporary full protection: Content dispute/edit warring – There's a handful of (sadly... experienced) editors who are doing a slow moving edit war on the page being passive aggressive with each other. Instead of blocking the handful of editors I think that full protection might stall the edit war and require some folks to grow up instead of heading to time out. . Dusti*Let's talk!* 05:30, 21 April 2019 (UTC)

Fully protected for a period of 3 days, after which the page will be automatically unprotected. SarahSV (talk) 05:52, 21 April 2019 (UTC)

IDBI Bank

Temporary semi-protection: Persistent sockpuppetry – IP editor making same edits as recently blocked editor . Ravensfire (talk) 06:02, 21 April 2019 (UTC)

Current requests for reduction in protection level

Please post requests in this section for removing or reducing the protection level of a page if the protecting admin is inactive or you have already asked them.
  • To find out the username of the admin who protected the page click on "history" at the top of the page, then click on "View logs for this page" which is under the title of the page. The protecting admin is the username in blue before the words "protected", "changed protection level" or "pending changes". If there are a number of entries on the log page, you might find it easier to select "Protection log" or "Pending changes log" from the dropdown menu in the blue box.
  • Requests to downgrade full protection to template protection on templates and modules can be directed straight here; you do not need to ask the protecting admin first.
  • Requests for removing create protection on redlinked articles are generally assisted by having a draft version of the intended article prepared beforehand.
  • If you want to make spelling corrections or add uncontroversial information to a protected page please add {{Edit fully-protected}} to the article's talk page, along with an explanation of what you want to add to the page. If the talk page is protected please use the section below.

Check the rolling archive if you cannot find your request. Only recently answered requests are still listed here.Template:Admin dashboard/Decrease

Current requests for edits to a protected page

Ideally, requests should be made on the article talk page rather than here.

  • Unless the talk page itself is protected, you may instead add the appropriate template among {{Edit protected}}, {{Edit template-protected}}, {{Edit extended-protected}}, or {{Edit semi-protected}} to the article's talk page if you would like to make a change rather than requesting it here. Doing so will automatically place the page in the appropriate category for the request to be reviewed.
  • Where requests are made due to the editor having a conflict of interest (COI; see Wikipedia:Suggestions for COI compliance), the {{request edit}} template should be used.
  • Requests to move move-protected pages should be made at Wikipedia:Requested moves, not here.
  • If the discussion page and the article are both protected preventing you from making an edit request, this page is the right place to make that request. Please see the top of this page for instructions on how to post requests.
  • This page is not for continuing or starting discussions regarding content should both an article and its discussion page be protected. Please make a request only if you have a specific edit you wish to make.Template:Admin dashboard/Edit

Create a level 3 header with a link to the article in question, then a {{Pagelinks}} template and then the reason. It looks like this: Example (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs) your request here. ~~~~
